Bantayan Island in Cebu got its name from the term Bantayan sa Hari, which means “Watchtowers of the King.” Eighteen watchtowers were built here during the time of the 22nd Governor-General Sebastian Hurtado de Corcuera when Moro pirates raided the island looking for slaves. Itinerary
Arrival at Mactan Airport, meet by tour coordinator then transfer to Hagnaya Port (approximately 3-5 hours) then ferry transfer to Sta. Fe port (approximately 1 hour) then transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free time at your own leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
